Reelect Jill Cooper

Despite an ever advancing technological world, where we have the ability to communicate with others instantly from all over the Earth, I think most people would agree that many of our elected officials are more disconnected than ever with the pulse of their constituents they represent.

However, a few public servants are shining examples of engagement and accessibility.

Pennsylvania State Rep. Jill Cooper is one of those shining examples. She is regularly all over the new 55th District, which includes my home of Salem Township. She has only been in office for over a year but has made a huge impact in our community, constantly reaching out to our local officials, holding town halls, engaging the various towns with their individual needs and concerns, and attending dozens of local events.

Her staff is excellent, and her newsletters are very informative. I appreciate the time and the attention she puts into every single issue she tackles. She is our voice in Harrisburg and is always happy to hear from anyone.

That being said, I am asking that you allow Cooper to continue to represent the 55th District by supporting her in a contested primary April 23.
